Gabhair Rua are an exciting new trio of Irish folk musicians, based in Cologne Germany. Featuring guitar, flute, whistles and violin, they cover a wide range of traditional Irish folk music, in dynamic and energetic performances. Their name is the Irish translation for "red goats," a subtle nod to the city they all met in. Playing reels, jigs, airs and dances through to haunting ballads and drinking songs, Luca, Gareth and Louisa give a modern edge to traditional music.
